Better Globe is a Norwegian company that sell trees and "Donation Packages" online to help East-African families out of poverty.

They have chosen social entrepreneurship under the slogan "Prosperity with Purpose" as the way to help those who live under some of the worst conditions in Africa, and they invite you to be a part of the movement.

It is an opportunity to almost "get paid" to do something for the environment and people living in poverty.

How it Works

Better Globe Trees are sold at 17 Euro each and help you erase your carbon footprint with 500 kilos of CO2 per tree.

The trees are planted in ASAL and help turn drylands into green lands.

They prevent erosion and desertification. And on top of that you get all your money back with a minimum of 11 times the cost in profit over 20 years.

In other words, it is a very practical solution to deal with carbon emissions both for individuals, small businesses and website owners. Click on the link below to read more about our CO2 free seal.

Green Products

Visit www.BetterGlobeTrees.com and discover the two green products sold by Better Globe; the Better Globe Tree and the Better Globe Donation Package.

Both are profitable, which is an integral part of Better Globe's strategies. Charity has over the last 50 years not been able to create a sustainable solution to the poverty found in many African countries.

The incredible development we have seen on some parts of the continent the last 10 years or so mainly come from foreign investments, which is also what many African leaders are asking for, not handouts.

Other Benefits

Besides reducing poverty Better Globe Trees will in the future provide timber from sustainable forestry (new trees are planted for every tree that is harvested) and help reduce the pressure on natural forests due to the ever increasing demand for timber, in particular tropical hardwood.

Become Carbon Neutral

With Better Globe you can easily become carbon neutral and help others do the same while bringing whole communities out of poverty through sustainable development.

And with each Better Globe Donation Package you buy you eliminate 2 tons of CO2. You also help provide education, jobs, microfinance (mainly to women), you give tree and water donations, and help protect the local environment.

To maximise the environmental and social impact Better Globe Trees are only planted in ASAL (arid or semi-arid land) not fit for food production.
