Reduce my Consumption

Retired I now have time to really enjoy making my own almost everything. For instance, I make fruit chutneys, relishes, and jams. Using recycled jars from friends. I also have the option of collecting fruit from wild trees or my own and friends' fruit trees. Thus my food miles are reduced enormously. My food has only to be transported from my vegetable garden to my kitchen, and not thousands of kilometers.

I NEVER buy takeaway as it has far too much sugar, fat, and salt. EG. A hash brown is over 60% fat!

By exercising and keeping healthy, I help to save the planet. I need far less medication, far fewer visits to a GP.

I am 81 and going strong.
